Procision has two concepts for user management: staff and users.
A person can either be staff, a user, or both in an ASC.
Staff: Any member of the ASC or related organization (practice or anesthesia) that could show up or be targeted by an action in the platform. For example if you want to select the surgeon or anesthesiologist on a case they need a staff record or if you want to indicate in a chart that they were in the OR.
User: Any member of the ASC that needs to login to Procision and have permissions to perform actions according to their role.
User and staff: A member of an ASC will most commonly have both a user account and staff record linked together. This allows them to both login to the platform and be represented in cases. Linked user and staff is needed in order to sign a document or an area of the chart.
To add users or staff linked to user accounts with logins to Procision you will need to contact support at [email protected] or using the chat widget.
If you only need a staff record and no user account and have access to the Admin menu and are a member of an ASC Facility in Procision you can add staff yourself by following the steps below.
